User picks a package featuring train tickets, hostels to stay in and different cities. Is there an extension that can be installed and configured that allows for user to plan their trip (cities they want to visit, hostels to stay in etc) and it then allows user to pay for their customised trip? Also the site will be selling set packages that feature predefined cities, hostels to stay in and train journeys.

Travel to Western Europe in October or November? I am thinking about going to either going to Nice or Slovenia in October or November. Does it make sense to go in these months? If so, which of those two months are better. Also, Royal Caribean has a n 11-night package for Europe package deparing on Nov. 27th for $999. It sounds very cheap but I was wondering how good is it considering it'll be pretty cold. So, the questions are what are the pros and cons of travelling during this time of the year.

I want to her help, and make sure she actually enjoys her time in Europe. I would like to make her a care package or "fun" travel kit... Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks! :-)
Why aren't there many good packaged travel deals from Houston to Europe at a good price?? Reputable website recommendations on discounted vacation packages? Hi, I'm looking for some good websites featuring good deals on all-inclusive vacation packages. Any suggestions? I live in the US by the way. Thanks!

Traveling to Europe- anyone know which tour groups are the best? Hi everyone, I'm planning on traveling to Europe this summer. I've picked out a tour package that I might want to book, but I wanted to know if anyone had any other suggestions (other than Trafalgar, Insight, Contiki).. I want to travel with people around my age (23) but I don't want to go on a booze cruise. Right now, I'm thinking about Trafalgar's "Breakaway" tours for people from 21-38 years of age. Any advice??

Is it ok to travel to Libya for an American? I've been hearing that the American government is restricting its citizens to travel to Libya. I don't know if that's true or not. Also if one goes there will there be problems on the way back into the US. The reason I'm asking is because there are some pretty awesome vacation packages to Libya out of Europe. I mean awesome like 5 star resort hotels. Since the tourist season is over, places like Libya and Tunisia are really cheap. I would really appreciate some feedback. Thanks.
Need help planning a backpacking trip through Europe? Me and a friend want to go backpacking through Europe. We have a plan, but are wondering if it is safe - just 2 girls. Anyone done it? Thoughts? Are there group packages for college students - like through a travel agency or something - that we could go through? That way we would have a guide and be with a group our age? Any helpful tips from experience would be helpful. THanks!
Is this a good enough travel plan for Europe? I am planning to go to Europe in 2 years for about 2 months and want to make the best of it. I want to go to exactly 12 countries and stay in each for about 5 days. I never traveled to Europe before and may be naive about it, I was thinking 45$ a day for food and 45$ for a hostel or cheap place to stay. Which comes up to be around 6,400 dollars, I don't know where that is too high or too low? Also I did some research on the Eurail pass and found that the "Eurail Global" package would suit best because I want to go to many different countries, not just on one side of Europe. It was about 1,000$. Now its coming up to be 7,000$ Yikes! Except it doesn't go around to Istanbul, Turkey. I wanted to go to Romania which is covered by the pass, could I some how manage to get from Romania to Istanbul, cheaply by train?(cost estimate?) I know I'm planning way head in advance but I need to start saving up. Any help would suffice, Thanks!!!
Are there any good air & hotel packages to New York City from Dallas? Ok, I'm planning a trip to New York from Dallas, and I'm looking for either some great air & hotel packages or atleast some cheap tickets (non-stop preferred). I've searched for some tickets and I guess I can say they aren't as bad as a I thought, but they are not non-stop. And I'm going for vacation for only a week (yeah, surely not enough), so I don't want to spend more time on a plane than I have to. As for the hotels, they are definitely over my budget. I know it's not like a trip to Europe, but are there any good travel packages out there for the budgeted?

What is a good site to learn about vacation packages? It doesn't have to be a site. You can recommend travel services or whatnot. And to be specific, I mean all over the world....from Japan...to China...to Europe. I have actually never been on a vacation before (not the richest person), and am old enough to go out on my own with some saved cash. Also, is it dangerous to vacation solo?
Whats a more cost effective method of traveling in Europe, back packing or guided tours.? I want to go to AMsterdam, Prague, a couple days in germany, and a few days in Italy and Greece. Does it end up costin more to back pack or are package tours too over priced?

We're also visiting the Alps. I expect answers from natives or people who've travelled there. I've no idea how many woolens I'll need. We'll be spending not more than 3 days in one country. how can i travel to Asia/Europe cheapest way possible. Boat or plane. Mailing services and/or Work on a boat? I'm looking to travel by boat so I can have the experience that doesn't have to be long like a cruise but shorter than a flight. I've heard of the air courier services where you sign for a package when you land and in exchange you get a really cheap ticket or free travel. Is there anything like this for ship travel? Are there any websites to look at or where to obtain more info. Is it possible to work on the ship at all in exchange for a free ride or discounted one? Is there a website or forum that lists people with boats/ships willing to except passengers either for work or reduced fare or just because they are going this direction and you can board? Anything would be great. Thanks.

I want to find a package that would tour a FEW parts of Europe. Who should I go with? I'd like to be able to see Italy and France mostly, and I'm looking for a short trip, like less than a week, that isn't going to cost as much as a big fancy cruise or something. Any advice on travel agencies that could help with this? Thanks

Where in Western Europe would be the coolest place to volunteer? I would do a 2-3 week volunteer package (most are about the same price) and then probably spend an additional week doing a little traveling, but I can't afford to spend much. Where would you recommend?
All inclusive tour package to Europe? As their retirement present, I want to send my parents on an all inclusive guided tour for at least a week in Europe (especially France, Italy, and England). This would be their first trip oversea, so yes, they would need a guide, or else they would get very lost and confuse (just trust me on this one). I am looking for a guided tour package deal where they can travel with like a group or something with a guide (preferably aiming toward an older crowd), which include airfare or other transportation there, hotels (preferably something decent, at least 3 stars), tickets to any attractions they’ll be visiting, breakfast, lunch, and dinner (since the guide could take them to the good places and introduce them to the local cuisines), so when I’m talking all inclusive, the only money I want them to spend out of pocket on this trip would be on souvenirs and snacks and stuff. I’ve been on the similar tour package (except by cruise ship) to the Caribbean before, but not sure if there anything similar to Europe I could send my parents to and not have to worry that they’ll get lost and stranded somewhere…
advice for Europe vacation.? I'm looking into vacationing in europe over the summer, but most travel websites only have packages that stay in one destination the whole time (i.e. 7 days in Paris). I would like to visit several countries if i make the trip. Should I just go and look for a hotel while there? or is there a site where I could reserve hotels in various places (i.e one night in paris, two nights in rome, etc.). Any other advice for a first time visitor? I'm thinking of planning for a mid-August trip, is this an ok time to visit?
Travel package tours besides Contiki? Is there any other company with great travel tours besides Contiki? I went to Contiki site and I loved it. The only negative side for me is when i read some people's reviews that went and they didnt like how the people just party alot. I dont wanna go to Europe just to party since Im not a party guy. I want to see the sites and experience the culture! Im 24 and my mates are all cheap so, possibly, 100% sure, I'll be alone. I looked at Globus and found the prices too high. So far, Cosmos is the best one I found so far. Any other people out there with suggestions?
Question about Traveling around Europe..? I am currently a student in the netherlands from Americ via an exchange program until Decemeber. I am already paying quite a bit of money for a place to stay and I would like to travel around Europe on the weekends (1-2day trips) for AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE. If I go on a one day trip, I obviously dont want to be on a bus for 8 hours getting to that destination. For a one day trip, I would like to spend about 6-8 hours in that country. Can anyone Please suggest how I can get the best deal? I have looked up ryanair.com and eurolines and everything is pricey if im trying to leave from the netherlands! GRR. I would like to visit amsterdam, germany, and paris... Can someone please suggest something? Also, i will be traveling alone, so I dont need big family packages. Thn
Americans & Travel - Are We Truly Hated ? I'm married to a Britishman who has seen more of the world than I ever will! I think he's learned since crossing the Big Pond that travel from the U.S. isn't the same as what is available in the U.K., especially regarding great package deals. Regardless, he dreams that we'll travel together someday. I just want to know if I travel to Europe or some of their coastal isles, what am I in for? I probably wouldn't tour the Middle East or Far East even if I had the opportunity simply out of fear. I wouldn't go anywhere betting I could fake a British accent so what's a good ole Southern American gal to do if she wants to venture out her backyard? Remember, you're helping to expand my little world so any kind advice and suggestions are appreciated!

Is there a way to arrive in Europe spending very little? This is very important to me, I would like to know if there is a way in which I may get to Italy (or anywhere in Europe) for very little money. I believe in a movie two friends traveled to England from Ohio for 170$, they went to a this place where they told them to deliver a package, and all they had to do was pay 170$ and give this package to this person. Is anything like that possible? I really would like to know, I have lived in Italy for the past 9 years of my life. And know my father kicked me out of the house while I was on vacation visiting my relatives here in the U.S. I don't care if he kicked me out, my father always acted like a selfish child so i never expect nothing great from him. I need to get back to Italy though because of my girlfriend.. i miss her so much. I never wanted to leave her, but I was "forced" to by my father.. now I'm stuck here.. with very little money.. and all i care about is getting back to her... please help me..someone answer this question...

How can we go about for planning this? We want to purchase some sort of package that has tours, sightseeing, some backpacking maybe, hotel, food, and transportation all paid for but there are so many online websites so I'm not sure whether to start looking there or maybe going to a travel agency. why is it when you get to your mid 40s life seems to be over and people are just seemingly waiting to die? Its depressing and people agree with me about this. All the excitement I had in my teens and 20s travelling round California and Europe following Queen with like minded fans/stalkers seem just a wonderful memory. Id like to think I could travel around the US again and go coast to coast like ive done a couple of times but it seems once your married thats it. My marriage is a mess and I intend to start out again soon by myself, but it seems noone in their 40s does anything except go on package holis as the hightlight of their year. I mean I think going to bed (by myself as I have no bed companion) is my fave time of day at mo, when I spread out in my PJs cuddle my pillow, listen to Virgin and fantasise about my fave celeb Robbie W. OK I need to grow up but I just dont want to! Anyone agree?
Government wants personal details of every traveller? Passengers travelling between EU countries or taking domestic flights would have to hand over a mass of personel information including mobile phone numbers and credt card details as part of a new package of security measures .... You can read the rest for yourself. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2008/feb/23/uksecurity.terrorismandtravel Considering the 'surveillance state' this country and Europe is becoming, have the terrorists already won ?
Hawaii for 18-35 year old travelers? I am looking for a Hawaii tour package that is catered to a younger crowd. I have used Contiki in the past when i traveled to Europe, and they did at one point have Hawaii vacations but have recently canceled them. Does anyone have any other suggestions as to what tours give you the most action packed activities and the most spare time?
Where should I go on my honeymoon? I will be leaving on Sept. 14 or 15 from Louisville, KY. I want to take a two week, international vacation for less than $5,000 including air, accommodations and most of the rest. I don't want to go to the Caribbean or Mexico--spending 2 weeks on the beach sounds far too boring. Western Europe is out as well, I've traveled most of Western Europe before and my fiance wants to go somewhere that is new to both of us. I want adventure travel, not deluxe travel. Anything is an option--Peru, Thailand, Morocco, Croatia, etc. Where should I go? Any links to particular trip options or vacation packages will be greatly appreciated. Repeat: Western Europe is not being considered.
deja vu? what do you think? U.S. Set to Assert Evidence Against Iran Saturday, February 10, 2007 9:19 PM EST The Associated Press By KATHERINE SHRADER and ANNE GEARAN WASHINGTON (AP) — The Bush administration is haunted by the history of intelligence blunders about Saddam Hussein's supposed weapons of mass destruction as the United States tries to document that Iran is providing lethal help to Iraqi fighters. After weeks of preparation and revisions, U.S. officials are preparing to detail evidence supporting administration's claims of Iran's meddlesome and deadly activities. A briefing was scheduled Sunday in Baghdad. The Iran dossier, some 200 pages thick in its classified form, was revised heavily after officials decided it was not ready for release as planned last month. What is made public probably would be short, and shorter on details than the administration recently had suggested. No one who has seen the files has suggested the evidence is thin. But senior officials — gun-shy after the drubbing the administration took for the faulty intelligence leading to the 2003 Iraq invasion — were underwhelmed by the packaging. Officials from several intelligence agencies scrutinized the presentation to make sure it was clear and that "we don't in any way jeopardize our sources and methods in making the presentation," State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said Friday. National security adviser Stephen Hadley recently said some Iran material was overstated. Privately, officials say they want to avoid the kind of gaffe akin to former Secretary of State Colin Powell's case for war before the United Nations in 2003. "My colleagues, every statement I make today is backed up by sources, solid sources. These are not assertions," Powell said as he laid out unproven claims of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction. "What we're giving you are facts and conclusions based on solid intelligence." It later turned out that Iraq did not have such weapons. The evidence on Iran is intended to give backbone to the administration's claim that an emboldened Iran is playing a dangerous game across the Middle East: meddling in conflicts and seeding terrorism beyond its borders while rushing to acquire nuclear know-how that could produce a bomb. Government officials familiar with the dossier's documents and slides, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the materials still were classified, said they make a compelling case about Iranian actions in Iraq. Among the evidence the administration planned to present are weapons that were seized over time in U.S.-led raids on caches around Iraq, said one military official. Other evidence includes documents captured when U.S.-led forces raided an Iranian office Jan. 11 in Irbil, a city in Kurdish-controlled northern Iraq about 220 miles north of Baghdad, this official said. In that raid, the U.S. captured five Iranians. They included the operations chief and other members of Iran's elite Quds Force, which is accused of arming and training Iraqi militants. Tehran said it was a government liaison office and called for the release of the five, along with compensation for damages. The dossier also details Iran's role in providing Iraqi fighters with the "explosively formed penetrator" devices that can pierce the armor of Abrams tanks with nearly molten-hot charges. One intelligence official said the U.S. is "fairly comfortable" that it knows with some precision the origin of those Iranian-made explosives. While traveling in Europe on Friday, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said that serial numbers and markings on explosives used in Iraq provide "pretty good" evidence that Iran is providing either weapons or technology for militants there. Gates did not how the U.S. knows that, and officials in Washington declined comment. A senior U.S. government official said Saturday that members of Congress were shown proof in December. "I'm convinced from what I've seen that the Iranians are supplying and are giving assistance to the people in Iraq who are killing American soldiers," said independent Sen. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut. The evidence in the dossier also includes what is known about Iranian efforts to train Iraqis in making bombs, using firearms and other military skills. But officials described internal disagreement about how closely Iranians can be linked to the training: Is there an Iranian in a classroom or some other setting showing Iraqis how to place and detonate roadside bombs? That, the official said, is less clear. Analysts at the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Office of the National Intelligence Director and elsewhere have been double- and triple-checking the information to ensure it is well supported. Officials said that is particularly the case when the material comes from sources with agendas. For instance, groups such as the Mujahedeen Khalq, which advocates for the overthrow of Iran's rulers, have provided some useful information to the United States in the past, but officials said material from them and other similar sources must be handled carefully. The vigorous fact-checking brings up a recurring problem: the precise nature of Iran's actions is often murky, but the intelligence must be solid. After mistakes on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, U.S. officials recognize there is skepticism about U.S. intelligence claims. ——— Associated Press writers Lolita C. Baldor and Pauline Jelinek contributed to this report.

Traveling really cheap by delivering a package??? This may seem dumb, but i saw in the movie "eurotrip" that the two characters were able to get flights to germany or somewhere in europe for really cheap, like $150. This was because they were delivering a package from america to someone in europe or something once they got there. is this real? and if so, where can i find out more anbout it? thanks
Spring Break? I'm a 21 year old British male living in the UK and looking to go Spring Break next year hopefully with a couple of mates. What I wanna find out is where is the best place to go for a crazy couple of weeks of pure partying? roughly how much money do you spend? And is it worth it? I've been to Ibiza and other party hotspots in Europe, is it worth me travelling all that way for just a bog standard holiday? Oh and does anyone know of any good websites, links companies ETC that does spring break packages that I can take a gander at. Cheers
European vacation recommendations? My friend and I, ages 25 and 35, want to go to Europe in about a year. She wants to drink a lot of beer for two weeks(she wants to do Dublin), and I want to see some historical sites, maye a couple walking tours. I'm trying to find some good packages, but we don't want to be stuck traveling with the same group of people on the same bus for days. We prefer to mostly do our own thing, just the two of us. But there's also communication issues to consider, so maybe we should be with a guide most of the time? For me, I hate wind. Rain is okay as long as it's not constant for days, snow I love but it's hard to travel in. She's more sensitive and would prefer the weather to be as mild as possible. So, on a budget of, say, $2,000 or so each, what are the best websites to use and which city or cities would fit our needs best? And what's the difference between Cork and Dublin? I'm looking for a package deal, flights and hotel, at leat a week, up to 2 weeks. I would love to hear from anyone Irish, and Europeans in general, as to specific areas that are full of things to do and not too expensive. Neighborhoods that are safe for young women, with inexpensive hotels and food. Thanks in advance! Thanks in advance!
