Does airlines have specials seats to mothers traveling with infants?
I think Airlines should have specials seat to moms traveling with infants and they should seat moms with infants on empty rows (off course when its possible) But what i want to know if they do that... are there any laws/ regulations??? Is there a breastfeeding room on a plane???

- As far as I know, unless the mother wants to hold her infant her entire trip, she has to pay for the extra seat and the only breast feeding room is probably the lavatory.
- A mother does not not pay for her infant to ride on her lap, so it is up to the airline if they want to put her in her own row. If an infant is not on the lap, it is supposed to be in a car seat. What type of seat would they make for mothers? There are some seats on some planes that have an extra oxygen bag, that is the only thing I know of different. No breastfeeding room on the plane, most flights are under 3 hours.
- I don't think they have a special breast feeding room. I'm pretty sure, though, that depending on the airline you fly through, some have little kinda of like a baby crib that can be pulled out from the wall if the mom is in the seat next to it. I think I slept in one of those when I was a baby!
- Most aircraft of major airlines are provided with bassinets (baby cots) for moms travelling with infants. These bassinets are located at the bulkhead of each class and they are collapsable and kept stowed away. Mothers with infants must reserved the bassinets when making flight reservation. I do not know of airlines which provide breastfeeding room on board.
- No laws about special seating for parents with infants (except that they can not sit in an exit row), and no special breastfeeding rooms. Space is a premium on airplanes, so why would an airline, which is in business to make money, waste space on a room that only a tiny fraction of passengers would use? I've never been on a plane that had a special bassinet for a baby to sleep on.
