What are your favorite travel experiences?
What is the most awesome trip you've ever taken? What made that place so special? How old were you then, and how did the experience shape you? I'm 16, and am PASSIONATE about travel. This summer I want to write a little book about my experiences & create a wish list for future trips. I'd love to hear your suggestions! Also, do you have a Travel Profile? If so, would you mind sharing? Do you have favorite travel websites? Thx! Happy travels!

- Disney world(Of course)
- I traveled by train from L.A. to Charleston SC. it took me about 4 days, I meant some of the most bizarre and intriguing characters as well as being one myself. I was 19 and going it alone so I didn't have anyone to hold me back from doing or having the experience I wanted. The train paralleled Route 66, I saw wild mustange and buffalo on the for real range, the ticket price was very fair, and was the most remarkable journey!! I hear that Amtrac has a summer pass, that you may get on or off any stop in the U.S. I wish I was unattached and could travel this time up thru the rockies and Canada.
- England: Best adventure was the torture museum under the bridge and strolling at night in the city France: Strolling the open market on the way to the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa amonst other things Spain: A bullfight I had to leave from because it was sad Portugal: Too much to mention.....listening to "fado" sung to me in a cafe and the castle at the top of Lisbon Italy: Throwing coins into Trevi Fountain at night and climbing the Spanish steps eating lemon ice at night and seeing the Sistine Chapel Austria: Seeing the Olympic ski run from the steeple of a beautiful chapel Switzerland: Eating fondue and pigs feet in a bar while people sang Belgium: The statue of Pee (lol spelling) and eel in mustard sauce at a cafe with a roaring fire Germany: Going to Dachau and seeing the devastating place where the atrocities occurred Holland: Anne Frank house Ireland: Just hangin on a farm and guiding the steer then going to the greyhound races Mexico: The snorkeling in aqua waters Puerto Rico: Riding a horse through the rainforest during a thunderstorm Hawaii: Sticking my feet in the lava dirt at a pineapple plantation and seeing torches lit at night by native Hawaiians Arizona: Flying up at dawn in a hot air balloon as I saw below me coyotes feed on carcasses and the shadow of our balloon on the foothills, seeing the grand canyon, seeing a coyote cross the road in a magenta lightning storm as I drove back from high desert at night. ...there is a great wonderful world out there and don't let anyone tell you you should not spend every dime you have for as long as you can to see it. Thanks for your wander lust and a great question
- I've been to nearly 100 countries. Too long to list. My favourites have been relaxing cruises. I've lived in 11 and am now in South Korea.
- My favourite travel experience was going through Europe from Italy of the South to France and Germany Belgmium and then to Holland and finally back to England. I chose to travell by trains and have little pit stops evry now and then so i could get a taste of the different cities and cultures. I allways remeber. I wish at the time that I had a passion for writing as I do now!! But hey, I will do that again! and this time I got my eye on America! (I was going to go this summer but I had some financial difficulties). But I never give up! I actually have got a job interview, tomorrow, which involves a travelling job, selling experiences in the US and Canada ! Wish me luck, cose I really need it! and this time I can write and when you travell you feel so alife and full of enthusiasm. I might probably write my first novel there!
- I love adventure travel and the awesome trip I took, when I went to Rinjani Mountain, in Lombok, Indonesia, because it was so tied but the view is so beautiful. I was 22 years old when I went there
