where is the good place to go after hongkong?any packages offer?is d travel agency helpful ?

Im from philippines.On aug.10,2008 we are planning to have our honeymoon in hongkong but we have no idea where to go after which is nearest to the place and how to go other place after that. Is travel agency helps a lot from our honeymoon or it is more comfortable if we go alone and have the excitement getting nowhere. .we only have 1 week for the honeymoon. 2 places are enough. thank you!

1. How about Singapore? It's a nice place to go to...clean and peaceful. There are always tour packages being offered by travel agencies all year round. Contact any local and legit travel agencies in your place.
2. Try Macau. it's only about 1 hour away via hydrofoil......its like going to Vegas.
3. August 8 to 24 is the busiest time of the year in China including Hong kong and Macau. Equestrian at the Summer Olympics will be held in Hong Kong. Book early if you really want that memorable time spent in Hong Kong.
4. It depends of your taste. Hongkong, Macau, Shenzhen are urban cities for shopping. Crowded places. If you can't read/communicate in Chinese, there's no way you can have a good travel in China. Take a travel agent with pre arranged tour guide. If you have enough time and want to visit China, consider Guilin. It is a mountain city in the province of Guangxi where the scenery is really great. About 1.5hours by plane from Shenzhen/Hongkong. Roundtrip from Shenzhen is about RMB1200(Php5,500). Hotels are affordable(RMB200, Php1,100). By bus is 18 hours from Shenzhen.
5. Visit Thailand. Easy to gert there from Hong Kong. Ko Samui is the in place for young people there. I hear it is fantastic for a newly weds.
