Free cruise for listening to a 90 minute presentation at a travel agency, is this really FREE??
I have an appointment tomorrow to attend a presentation at a new travel agency in the area. They said that we are guaranteed to receive the trip in exchange for listening to their information about their travel agency...Dream Vacations. It will take me about 45 minutes each way to get there, and I will have to hire a babysitter for my children, so I really want to make sure this is legitimate before I go through the hassel. They said we are not under any obligation to purchase anything, they hope that we will come back to them in the future to purchase vacation packages or tell our friends about them. Any experience with this? Sounds kind of like a timeshare deal to me.

- Could be a time share - the other scam is that I've seen run from Canada is that the 3 or 4 day cruise is "free" but you have to buy the airfare from them. Typically they bump up the price of the airfare to recoup the cost of the "free" cruise. In these cases your 3-4 day "free" cruise ends up costing between $700-$1000 per person. About the same as you would pay if you bought a airfare/cruise package from an agent. I've had lots of free vacations offered to me but never went because I figure that it's a scam. Good luck if you decide to go but I have my doubts.
- Absolutely not. I wondering, if anything is ever free in life without addition charges. However, if there is then email me!!!!
